The University of Tennessee College of Medicine - Chattanooga offers both third year and fourth year experiences in Pediatrics.
Overview
- The UT College of Medicine - Chattanooga offers training to junior and senior medical students and PA students from UTHSC & senior medical students from other medical schools who meet UTHSC standards.
- Each year more than 100 visiting medical students elect clinical rotations in Chattanooga across 9 specialty departments.
- Majority of training is based at Erlanger Health System & Children’s Hospital at Erlanger.
- Medical students are considered an integral part of the health care team & receive individualized attention from faculty & residents.
- Many of our students choose to remain in Chattanooga for residency as a direct result of their clinical rotations.
- Senior visiting students who meet UT and Department eligibility requirements apply via AAMC’s Visiting Student Application System (VSAS/VSLO).
