UT Board of Trustees to Hold Special Meeting on April 24

KNOXVILLE – The University of Tennessee Board of Trustees will hold an informational meeting to be briefed about the University’s ongoing COVID-19 response at 8:00 am EDT/7:00 am CDT on April 24.
Following interim guidance issued by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) regarding COVID-19 (coronavirus) and in compliance with state and local stay-at-home orders, the specially called meeting will be held virtually with all Board members participating electronically or by telephone. Interested individuals are encouraged to watch the meeting online. The meeting will be webcast live and archived for later viewing; a link to the webcast will be available at tennessee.edu.
At the meeting, the Board of Trustees will be briefed by UT President Randy Boyd on the University’s actions and plans in response to COVID-19. The agenda for the meeting has been posted to the Board website and is accessible at: https://trustees.tennessee.edu/.
