Student Status Committee
The Student Status Committee is a standing committee of the College of Dentistry. The committee is represented by all academic and clinical departments in the College as well as student representatives from each class. The purpose of the committee is to assess academic progress, professional and personal student conduct and make recommendations to the Dean regarding those assessments. The Dean either accepts the recommendation from the committee, rejects the recommendation from the committee, or modifies the recommendation. The Dean then authorizes the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs to write the students via email concerning final decisions regarding the recommendations of the committee.
Appeals Regarding Academic Decisions
The appeals process for academic decisions made, can be found in the College of Dentistry Bulletin.
