Chattanooga Surgery Clerkship (SUR-30000)
The Chattanooga Surgery Clerkship is an 8-week clinical experience during which students participate in the breadth of surgery. The clerkship is organized into four components with students spending 8-10 weekdays on each of the following:

- General Surgery
- Vascular Surgery
- Surgical Critical Care Service
- Trauma Surgery
Orientation occurs on the first day of the rotation. This includes introductions by the Clerkship Director, the Clerkship Coordinator, and the Surgical Resident Representative. Call schedules and duties may vary according to the rotation but are clearly delineated at the start of each rotation. In addition to clinical involvement, students are expected to attend weekly didactic conferences with surgery residents and fellows.
