QIPS Day

Our Annual QIPS Day is a great engagement in the effort of Quality Improvement and Patient Safety, and is a noble representation of our partnership with Erlanger.

Eligibility Requirements
  • Must be within a UT Health Science Center clinical program, including Medicine, Nursing and Pharmacy
  • Submission materials completed

Fri April 10th, 2026 QIPS Day 
Wed March 4th, 2026 Deadline to submit QIPS project proposals for presentations - Submit to QIPS Day Box
Fri March 13th, 2026 Acceptance emails sent to all Quality Teams
Wed March 18th, 2026 Presentation schedule distributed to all participants, program faculty, residents, fellows, medical students, and staff
Tues March 24th, 2026 Finalized Poster and Presentation files due - Submit to QIPS@erlanger.org
Platform and Poster Presentation Guide
Platform Presentations
  • 12 minute presentation max; 5 minute Q&A period to follow
  • "What to Include?" Guide
  • Presentation will utilize one of the following QIPS Day templates
  • Judging will be based on the following criteria:
  • Top presentation will be announced after conclusion of platform presentations
Poster Presentations
  • Posters must be sized no larger than 46" x 36"
  • Poster will utilize one of the following QIPS Day templates
  • Presenter will be given a set time when a representative will be at their poster to engage viewers

 

12th Annual QIPS Day

The 12th Annual Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Day, held on April 11th, 2025 was another great success thanks to the support of Erlanger, Erlanger Auxiliary and all attendees, judges, and organizers! This year marked a record for attendance at the event and we appreciate everyone who took the time to attend QIPS Day 2025.

QIPS Day is a great engagement in the effort of Quality Improvement and Patient Safety, and is a noble representation of our partnership with Erlanger and we look forward to all the hard work continued into next year!
