Dr. Singh received his M.D. from the SUNY Health Science Center in Syracuse, New York, after graduating cum laude from Cornell University in Ithaca, N.Y. with a B.S. in chemical engineering. He completed his internship and residency training at University Hospital in Syracuse, N.Y., and his fellowship training at the National Cancer Institute in Bethesda, Md. Dr. Singh specializes in minimally invasive (laparoscopic) renal surgeries as well as robotic-assisted laparoscopic prostatectomy and cystoprostatectomy, with urinary diversion.

Dr. Shridharani is a board certified urologist and fellowship trained specialist in male reproductive and prosthetic urology with UT Erlanger Urology in Chattanooga, TN. His practice offers comprehensive Men’s Reproductive and Sexual Health services including comprehensive management of the infertile male, reproductive microsurgery including vasectomy reversal, urologic cancer survivorship, and penile/urethral reconstruction.

In practice, Dr. Shridharani prides himself on applying the most current techniques and data while approaching each patient in an individualized manner. Furthermore, Dr. Shridharani emphasizes patient education and participation in all aspects of care. He believes that although physicians can make treatment recommendations, patients must be closely involved in the decision-making process. He understands that through this process the most successful outcomes with regard to patient satisfaction is obtained.

Dr. Shridharani is a member of the American Urological Association, American Society for Reproductive Medicine, Sexual Medicine Society of North America, Society for the Study of Male Reproduction and The Society for Male Reproductive and Urology. He currently reviews journals for the Journal of Urology and the Gold Journal.

Dr. Shridharani continues to perform clinical research on the subjects of vasectomy, varicocele, erectile dysfunction and vasectomy reversal, and has presented his work to several international meetings such as the American Society of Reproductive Medicine and the American Urological Society Annual Meetings. His research has been featured online at U.S. News and World ReportLiveScience, and Health Day.

Dr. Waldorf completed his undergraduate education at Vanderbilt University, earning a B.S. in neuroscience with a minor in chemistry. He completed his medical degree at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in Chapel Hill, NC. He completed a residency in urology at the Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington, MA and then went on to complete a fellowship in minimally invasive urologic oncology and reconstruction under Dr. Daniel Eun at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.

Dr. Waldorf offers minimally invasive surgery for urologic malignancies such as prostatekidney and bladder cancers, as well as non-malignant conditions such as ureteral strictures and benign prostatic enlargement (BPH).

Dr. Waldorf is a member of the American Urological Association and the Endourological Society.

Dr. Okafor is a board-certified, fellowship-trained urologist who specializes in disorders of the female genitourinary system. After completing an undergraduate degree in Biology at Clayton State University in Morrow, Georgia, Dr Okafor earned his Medical Degree from Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, DC. He then completed urology residency training at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse NY and went on to Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio, where he completed a fellowship in Female Pelvic medicine and Reconstructive surgery (FPMRS).

Dr. Okafor offers medical and surgical treatment for various female urologic conditions including complications from prior urogynecologic surgeries. He specializes in minimally invasive robot assisted surgery for pelvic organ prolapse.

Dr. Okafor is a member of the American Urological Association and the Society of Urodynamics, Female Pelvic Medicine and Urogenital Reconstruction.

Born and raised in Memphis, Dr. Threlkeld attended the University of Tennessee Knoxville for her undergraduate education, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry, cellular and molecular biology. Following her medical education at the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center in Memphis, Dr. Threlkeld completed urology residency training at Erlanger Health System, affiliated with the University of Tennessee College of Medicine Chattanooga.

Dr. Lange is a board-certified, fellowship-trained urologist who specializes in metabolic stone disease, percutaneous renal surgery, and reconstructive urology. Originally from Knoxville, Dr. Lange attended Furman University where she played Division I basketball. Her sports experience instilled a love of teamwork and discipline that continues to inform her medical and surgical practice. Dr. Lange earned her medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine, and she completed her urology residency training at Wake Forest Baptist Health.

She completed her fellowship training at George Washington University in genitourinary reconstruction and endourology (minimally invasive techniques to treat kidney stones). She specializes in both surgical removal of kidney stones and prevention of future stone episodes through dietary modification and medical management.

Biography

Israel Franco, MD, is a pediatric urologist with 30 years of experience in the field and has been listed among Castle Connolly’s top doctors. Dr. Franco received his medical degree from Albert Einstein College and is fellowship-trained at Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago. He has been an early innovator in laparoscopic surgery and neurology in pediatric urology and was one of the earliest practitioners of biofeedback therapy in the United States.

Dr. Franco has several patents in the field of continence devices and urodynamic software. Research in these fields is his main interest. He has developed a bedwetting alarm which is powered by artificial intelligence that wakes patients up prior to having an accident, and is working on similar technology to help patients with neurologic problems be continent. He has also published over 90 articles in peer-reviewed journals and has contributed 19 chapters for textbooks.

Always an early innovator and on the cutting edge of technology, Dr. Franco brings a proven track record of successful innovative therapies to children with neurogenic bladder problems as well as children with non-neurogenic bladder and continence issues.
