Meet your Mental Health Providers
A Message to Students, Residents, and Fellows
A recent University reorganization has created an additional resource for mental health services – University Counseling and Behavioral Health Services located in University Health Services (UHS) on the 9th floor of the 910 Madison Building. The offices of Dr. Kimberly Williams Collins and Dr. Clay Woemmel have moved to this new location from the GEB.
Both Dr. Woemmel and Dr. Williams Collins are available to provide services to UTHSC community members. Dr. Woemmel is available to provide individual and group counseling, academic and career coaching, as well as programming and resources for residents and fellows. Dr. Williams Collins is available to provide individual, group, couples and behavioral health therapy for students, faculty and staff. (Dr. Williams Collins, psychologist/director in UCBH remains available to assist residents and fellows in partnership with Dr. Woemmel.)
Services are free and confidential for students, residents and fellows seen in UCBH. There is no limit on the number sessions for students, residents and fellows may schedule.
Office hours for Dr. Woemmel are from 10 am – 7 pm on Monday through Thursday and until 6 pm on Friday. Dr. Williams Collins’ office hours are from 9 am – 6 pm on Monday through Thursday and from 8 am – 5 pm on Friday. Additional appointment times are available on a limited basis by request for both Drs. Woemmel and Williams Collins.
