Interesting tidbits/fun facts about yourself: I lived in Spain, teaching English for 2 years. My best friend’s great grandfather started the St. Patrick’s Parade in Chicago in the 1950’s. I’ve been (mostly) vegan for about 12 years.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time? I enjoy hanging out with my dogs, cooking, eating, hanging out with friends, traveling, watching dating reality TV shows.
What do you like about our Residency? I like that there is plenty of OB experience. There is continuity of care so that residents can take ownership of the care of their patients through the 3-year program. Most importantly I think that my co-residents and the faculty are wonderful.
Career Aspirations: I’d like to work in a private practice setting; eventually working in a underserved community, specializing in FMOB.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time? I love to read across a spread of genres and exercise to blow off steam.
What do you like about our Residency? I love that our program is unopposed and in Memphis, TN, so I can learn how to be a well-rounded physician while serving my hometown.
Career Aspirations: I hope to serve underserved communities in the south, and I am open to pursuing a fellowship.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time? I love watching horror movies, cooking for me and my partner and trying new restaurants on the weekends.
What do you like about our Residency? Amazing co-residents, staff, and attendings. St. Francis is a great hospital, and we are always treated with respect.
Career Aspirations: I want to work in a rural outpatient clinic or urgent care center where there is a large underserved population of children.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time? I love to spend time with my wife and family. I also play men’s league and coed soccer. I love to stay active by running and going to gym.
What do you like about our Residency? I like that everyone is easily approachable and willing to teach. I like that that the program is unopposed and allows you to train at different facilities around the city. I enjoy the diversity with the program.
Career Aspirations: I am currently undecided about whether I want to pursue a sports medicine fellowship vs. practicing in an inpatient/outpatient hybrid.

What do you like about our Residency? The best characteristics of our residency is the location and the people. I found a residency program that takes responsibility in my learning and shares interest in who I am.
Career Aspirations: I want to co-own a physician/healthcare provider health center with family located in South Memphis.

What do you like about our Residency? I chose the program because there is so much medical need in Memphis. I formed great relationships as a student and now as a resident. I am excited to stay in Memphis and give back to the community that has given so much to me.
