Alexandra Samborski, MD
PGY-6

Dr. Samborski grew up in Minneapolis, MN. She went to Gustavus Adolphus College for undergrad, where she played Division III tennis. She then attended the University of Minnesota for medical school. She completed her OB/GYN residency at the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY, and practiced as an academic generalist there after graduating. She is thrilled to be continuing her training at UTHSC!

Anya Laibangyang, MD
PGY-5

Bio

Dr. Laibangyang is originally from the suburbs of Los Angeles, CA. She attended Cornell University for undergrad and stayed in the northeast to attend medical school at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. She completed her OBGYN residency in Danbury, Connecticut and is excited to move to the South to pursue her gynecologic oncology fellowship at UTHSC!

Chelsea Stewart, MD
PGY-5

Bio

Dr. Chelsea Stewart was born in Virginia but spent the majority of her childhood in Texas as a Navy child. She pursued her medical education at Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine before attending Creighton University of Medicine. During residency, she served as Chief Resident and, after residency, worked as an OBGYN generalist in Los Angeles, California. She is now excited to continue her training at UTHSC and looks forward to the opportunities ahead.
