About your Holds
If you are not registered for courses, your enrollment status will not be reported and your Financial Aid cannot be awarded, disbursed, or refunded.
- You can check the current holds on your account by visiting Self-Service Banner and logging in with your NetID.
- Then, click the Student tab and the Student Records link.
- Lastly, click View Holds. Each Hold Type and contact office is listed in detail below should you have questions about your hold(s). Please do not reply directly to this email as the contacts below are best equipped to address your concerns.
See below for Hold types and Instructions:
- Immunization Hold – Your immunization records are incomplete. Please see the Immunization website for information about submitting immunization documentation. For information about your required immunizations, please log into your Verified Credentials account or contact Client Services 1-800-938-6090.
- Student Authorization – You must complete and acknowledge all parts of the Student Authorization. The Student
Authorizations link can be found on Self-Service Banner under the UTHSC Student Authorizations link.

- Bursar’s Office – You may have a balance or other outstanding obligation with the Bursar's Office.

- CPR Hold – For information about your required CPR Hold, please log into your Verified Credentials account or contact Client Services 1-800-938-6090.
- Information Security – You must complete security training from ITS available on Blackboard (instructions below). Each year, current students must complete
the refresher training modules assigned. Questions? Contact: 901.448.1880
- Log in to Blackboard with your NetID and password.
- Click the Information Security Training - Students course link.
- Complete the modules.
- Your hold should clear overnight. Please allow 2-4 business days for Immunization holds to clear.
