About
Blackboard Learn is the learning management system (LMS) at University of Tennessee Health Science Center and is used to enhance teaching and learning for online and campus courses. Blackboard Learn offers instructors and students the flexibility to access course materials at any time from any computer or mobile device with an Internet connection – which is essential to supporting the on-the-go learning needs of students today.
Benefits
- Multimedia content – Instructors can share multimedia course materials such as video lectures, images, and podcasts to engage students and encourage active learning.
- Interaction, collaborations and communication – Learners benefit from the sense of community afforded by synchronous and asynchronous opportunities including doc sharing, chats, and discussion forums.
- Digital assessment and grading tools – Instructors can save time by administering exams as well as by managing course grades online in Blackboard.
