Blackboard (Bb) is a web-based learning management system (LMS) used by faculty to provide course content and administer assessments to their students.

EndNote is a reference management software program that helps manage research and scholarly papers. It is available to UTHSC students at no cost.
Examplify is computerized testing software. Installation instructions are on your college’s Exam Soft login page.

Flip is a free video discussion platform. In Flip educators post discussion prompts and students respond with short videos.
Lockdown Browser s a custom browser that locks down the testing environment within a learning management system.
Microsoft Office 365 offers tools to create class projects and presentations, organize class notes, and manage daily schedules. Log in with your UTHSC credentials to access available applications.
My Mediasite allows users to capture, publish, manage, and share original videos directly from their computer to a Mediasite server.
NameCoach allows students to provide an audio recording of their name to eliminate mispronunciation and gender pronouns. It is located within Blackboard.
Poll Everywhere is live online polling, surveys, Q&As, quizzes, word clouds, and more.
ProctorU is a live online exam proctoring service for test-takers. You must have a functioning webcam or camera on your computer or other devices.
Qualtrics is a powerful online survey tool that allows one to build surveys, distribute surveys and analyze responses from one convenient online location.
StudyMate is a tool that integrated with Blackboard to help students master the basics of course material through learning activities, self-assessments, and games.
YouTube is a video sharing service where users can watch, like, share, comment and upload their own videos.
Zoom's web-based conferencing uses high-quality video and audio and is accessible on MacOS, Windows, iOS and Android mobile devices.
