  • The environment is NOT a silent, private setting.
  • There may be others testing in the space; however, the space allows students to start and finish their exams with limited interruptions.

Scheduling an Exam

  • Exams are to be scheduled online through the RegisterBlast website.
  • While students may be able to select their desired test seat at the time of scheduling, there may be occasions when a student needs to be moved. Example, technical issues.
  • Due to limited space, we cannot guarantee that a student will test at the same times as their peers. Therefore students and faculty should plan ahead when scheduling their exam.
  • Testers will be provided multiple options for test times and days, especially for those that occur during a busy periods.
  • The University Honor Code is in place for all exams regardless of test date and time. Violation of the University Honor Code will result in the student being referred to Conduct.
  • We ask that faculty are mindful of testing center hours, as late afternoon exams will need to be completed prior to 4pm. To assist with this, we have created flexible scheduling where students select their own test date and time. Exams need to be scheduled no later than 24-hours in advance.
  • It is the student’s responsibility to schedule their exam session.
  • A student who either ‘no-shows’ their exam or fails to schedule their exam must coordinate with their college for a retest option. Testing in the center may be available, pending space.
  • After a student’s second ‘no-show’/arrival greater than 15 minutes past their scheduled start time, they will be redirected to their college for testing the remainder of the semester. Likewise, a student who fails to schedule their exam in advance will be redirected back to their college upon missing for a second time, for remainder of the semester. The college will be responsible to provide appropriate accommodations.
  • Due to limited testing space and other appointments, a student who arrives greater than 15 minutes past their scheduled start time may be denied testing.
  • Late arrivals are a disruption to other testers and can impact testers scheduled to use the device later that day
