Bobby Bellflower, DNSc, NNP, Associate Professor and DNP Program Chair, College of
Nursing, UT Health Science Center
Dr. Bellflower is a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) and is the Director of the Doctor
of Nursing Practice (DNP) Program at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center,
College of Nursing. Dr. Bellflower obtained her undergraduate degree at the University
of Memphis, Masters degree at UTHSC and her Doctor of Nursing Science (DNSc) degree
at UTHSC. She has an active practice at Regional One Health Neonatal Intensive Care
Unit (NICU). Her areas of interest include evidence-based practice, developmental
origins of disease and education/success of nurse practitioner students. She has numerous
publications and presentations. As Director of the DNP Program, Dr. Bellflower participates
in many courses. Most courses in the DNP program are entirely online, thus creativity
and innovation are important aspects.
Mark Collins, PhD, Director, Technology-Enhanced Education and Distinguished Lecturer, Haslam College of Business, UT Knoxville
Mark Collins is a Distinguished Lecturer of Marketing and Director of Technology-Enhanced Education at the University of Tennessee’s Haslam College of Business. Collins lead the design, development and implementation of the BOSS (Business Online Summer Sessions) Program. Prior to joining UT in 1999, he worked for almost 20 years in hotel management and development for chains such as Sheraton, Hilton, Holiday Inn, and Cooper Hotel Groups’ Garden Plaza Hotels. Jacque Bradford, PT, EdD, DPT, Assistant Professor, Director of Clinical Education,
Department of Physical Therapy, College of Health Professions, UT Health Science Center
Dr. Jacque Bradford received her BS (2004) in Exercise and Sport Science and MS (2006) in Human Movement Science from the University of Memphis and completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) in 2009. Dr. Bradford served as a clinician in the acute care hospital setting for 5 years prior to transitioning to the academic role of Director of Clinical Education in 2014. Her teaching responsibilities include clinical education, fundamentals in physical therapy, professional, ethical, and supervisory issues, and treating the medically complex patient. In Spring 2018, Dr. Bradford received her Doctor of Education in Instructional Design & Technology from the University of Memphis and was awarded the Outstanding ID&T Graduate Student award. She has published in peer-reviewed journals and presented nationally on technology-enhanced learning in physical therapy education and on simulation-based instruction.
David Dietrich, PhD, Associate Professor of Counseling/Educational Studies, College
of Education, Health, and Behavioral Sciences, UT Martin
Dr. Dietrich was awarded a PhD from the University of Memphis in 1995 in Counseling Psychology Clinical Director and Program Director at Youth Habilitation Center, a residential treatment facility for violent juvenile offenders from 1995-1998. Marion Donohoe, DNP, APRN, CPNP-PC, Assistant Professor, DNP Program, College of Nursing,
UT Health Science Center
Dr. Marion Donohoe is an assistant professor in the College of Nursing and serves
as the DNP-Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Concentration Coordinator. She
holds a PhD from UTHSC, a masters from George Mason university and a NP certificate
from Catholic University of America. Dr. Donohoe’s program of scholarship focuses
on innovative interdisciplinary educational tools that are evidence based to foster
and promote core values of public health nursing and pediatric primary care. She received
her MSN in Children with Special Needs as a Clinical Nurse Specialist from George
Mason University in Virginia. She had a traineeship at Georgetown University Child
Development Center in Developmental Pediatrics. She received her Pediatric/School
Nurse Practitioner post Master’s Certificate at The Catholic University of America.
For 12 years, she cared for children and their families affected and infected by HIVAIDS
at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Her experience led to South Africa to teach
nurses the primary and specialty care of children receiving antiretroviral therapy
in research settings. The experiences of South Africa influenced her to pursue her
DNP in Public Health Nursing at the UTHSC.
Chad Harriss, PhD, Department of Communications, College of Arts and Sciences, UT
Chattanooga
Dr. Chandler “Chad” Harriss is a member of the communication department at the University of Tennessee Chattanooga. He came to UTC after spending almost a decade teaching at a small, private liberal arts school in upstate New York. Throughout his career, he has designed and taught over 20 different communication courses.
Aisha McGriff, PhD, Sr. Instructional Developer , Walker Center for Teaching and Learning,
UT Chattanooga
Dr. Aisha McGriff is a Senior Instructional Developer in the Walker Center for Teaching and Learning at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Dr. McGriff holds a BA in psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a MA in Sociology from North Carolina Central University, and a MA and PhD in American Culture Studies from Bowling Green State University. Dr. McGriff enjoys researching and learning about new pedagogical techniques to accommodate diverse classroom populations and ways to make instructional technologies accessible.
Tiffany Mitchell MA, Senior Lecturer, Department of English, College of Arts and Science,
UT Chattanooga
A native of Memphis, Professor Mitchell has been a lecturer at UTC since 2007. She teaches mostly first-year writing (FYW) and professional writing courses — in F2F and online-exclusive environments. She’s also previously taught ESL courses at UTC and has been teaching online-exclusive FYW classes since 2012. She has a keen interest in digital composition and multimodality as well as social justice activism and intersectionality, all of which enhances and informs her teaching. Ever-cognizant of best practices and student-centered pedagogy, Prof. Mitchell is always working to improve her instruction.
Eric Moore, PhD, UDL and Accessibility Specialist, Course Design and Delivery, Office
of Information Technology, UT Knoxville
Eric is a professional educator with over a decade of experience in the classroom
ranging from teaching drama and English in Kokomo, Indiana to teaching literature
and philosophy in international schools in Indonesia and South Korea. Most recently,
he has begun a scholarly career in teacher education and higher education instruction
for diverse learners. He serves as the UDL and Accessibility specialist for the University
of Tennessee, Knoxville. Eric holds a PhD in Inclusive Education from UT, Knoxville,
a M.Ed from Grand Valley State University and B.A. in Secondary English Education
from Taylor University.
Keevia Porter, DNP, NP-C, RN, Assistant Professor, BSN/MSN Program, College of Nursing, UT Health Science Center
Dr. Keevia Porter is an assistant professor at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC), where she teaches across programs within the College of Nursing. Dr. Porter teaches both hybrid and online courses. She has taught hybrid and/or online course for over 10 years. Dr. Porter most recently earned Quality Matter’s certification for a BSN nursing course.
Nancy A. Warren, PhD, RN – Coordinator of RN-to-BSN Online Option Program – U.T. Martin
Dr. Warren has been a faculty member in the Department of Nursing at U.T. Martin for 28 years. She served as Chair of the Department for 9 years. Other adventures have included Faculty Senate President, Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) Site Visitor for 20 years, Phi Kappa Phi International Honor Society Treasurer for 8 years, member of Pi Tau Nursing Honor Society, Tennessee Nursing Association, and member/officer of numerous committees in the department, college, and university. Her field of practice is Critical Care/Emergency Nursing with a focus of research addressing Needs of Critical Care Family Members and Bereavement of Critical Care Family Members. She has developed instruments to measure needs of critical care family members and has published numerous articles related to her research in these fields. Degrees include an Associate of Arts in Nursing from U.T. Martin, BSN from Murray State University, MSN from Murray State University, and PhD from Georgia State University.
Marcia Sharp, EdD, RHIA, Associate Professor and Graduate Program Director, Department of Health Informatics & Info. Management, UT Health Science Center
Marcia Sharp, EdD, MBA, RHIA is an associate professor in the Department of Health Informatics and Information Management. She holds a doctoral degree in Higher and Adult Education, master’s degree in Business Administration and is a graduate of the University of Tennessee Health Information Management program. She also serves as the program director for the post-graduate program in Health Informatics and Information Management. She has had a remarkable career in Health Information Management and Human Resource Management where she held various leadership positions. She is an active member of MHIMA, THIMA, and AHIMA serving on several committees and groups. Dr. Sharp has been actively involved in online teaching and learning since 2007. She serves on the Teaching and Learning Center’s Advisory Board, Innovations in Education Strategic Planning committee, learning management system committee and the former Distance Learning Taskforce. She served as UTHSC’s Faculty Innovation Champion for the year of online learning in 2015-2016. She has completed several Quality Matters Design courses and workshops. In addition, she is a member of the United States Distance Learning Association and the Online Learning Consortium.
Brian Stevens, MS, Lecturer, Business Analytics and Statistics, Haslam College of Business, UT Knoxville
Brian Stevens is a Lecturer in Business Analytics and Statistics in the Haslam College of Business. Stevens teaches online courses in the BOSS (Business Online Summer Sessions) Program, as well as on campus courses. In 2018, he was one of four to receive an Alumni Outstanding Teacher award. Stevens believes that statistics should not be boring and engages students frequently with technology and multimedia based instructional components.
