Request an Education Package

The Office of Access and Compliance (OAC) offers a variety of courses and workshops at the request of departments and organizational units for accreditation or compliance obligations. OACs team not only addresses potential concerns as they are reported to us but also seeks to assist in educating and informing university members of how a focus on culture as a strategic business driver directly impacts organizational climate, effectiveness, and reputation and may involve related topics and policies.

Our courses and workshops are designed for groups and to be informative and educational. Due to the time constraints of our faculty, staff, trainees, and students, these courses and workshops are offered in short sessions and include condensed curricula. While our courses and workshops may include information regarding recommended behaviors or conduct, they are not designed to be “corrective action,” as they are not intended to teach a skill or behavior to mastery thoroughly. Therefore, we do not subscribe to the competency model wherein workshops are recommended to be “checked off a checklist” or used for remedial purposes.

Education Package Options

The packages detailed below are designed to provide a cohesive set of courses and workshops based on the needs and interests of the requesting audience. Presentations can be adjusted to durations of between 50 to 75 minutes. When a package is requested, all four courses must be offered and completed within 90 days of the first-course presentation. Additionally, OAC will continue to provide the Workplace Certificate Program (WCP) twice a year for individuals who wish to participate in a more comprehensive diversity and inclusion program and the Inclusive Engagement Program, an experiential annual program. Please see details below on each package and its courses.
