Dr. Beth Humphrey has been with UT since 2005. She works with adults and children
over the age of 5 years to assess hearing and fit amplification, but her other areas
of specialty are cochlear implants and auditory processing disorder. What Dr. Humphrey
loves most about her job are the relationships she builds with her clients to find
hearing solutions that meet individual communication needs and yield improvement in
overall quality of life. She feels privileged to be able to share this passion with
future Doctor of Audiology students enrolled in the UTHSC Audiology program. Dr. Humphrey
is an active member of the Hearing Loss Association of America, Knoxville Chapter.
She serves the American Speech Language Hearing Association on the Audiology Advisory
Council and the Coordinating Committee for Special Interest Group: Aural Rehabilitation
and Its Instrumentation and is Chair of the Tennessee Association of Audiologists
and Speech Language Pathologists Foundation Board.
