National Student Speech-Language Hearing Association – UTHSC Chapter
The National Student Speech Language Hearing Association (NSSLHA) is a pre-professional membership association, led by students, for those interested in the study of communication sciences and disorders.
Local and national membership is available to undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral students enrolled full or part-time in a communication sciences program or related major.
The UTHSC NSSLHA Chapter meets monthly, plans, and implements various social, outreach, and service-oriented activities that support the disciplines of audiology and speech-language pathology and the patients that we serve, including:
- Clinic Open House
- ASP Career Fair
- Panel and information session for undergraduate students planning to apply for graduate school
- Celebrate Sound Walk
- Hear Us Run 5K
- Walk to Defeat ALS
- Tennessee Hands & Voices Family Events
