Photography and Computer Graphic Services
The University of Tennessee College of Medicine Chattanooga and Erlanger work in cooperation to provide excellent, state-of-the art graphic and audiovisual services for medical students, residents, and faculty.
John Stroud, Erlanger AV Specialist, can provide assistance for computer-generated slide presentations in PowerPoint; digital/full-color scanning of slides, photographs, graphs, x-rays, scans, etc; as well as copy stand photography; and research poster presentations. Each of the residency program offices has software available for the computer-generated slides (Microsoft PowerPoint - part of the Microsoft Office Suite).
Technology is available to prepare professional quality poster presentations. Residents and faculty must prepare information for the poster in the form of PowerPoint slides, including tables or charts, or Excel data tables.
Click here to access an online pdf form to request Computer Graphics services to create/prepare a poster for regional and/or national presentations. You should submit a PowerPoint file or materials in final format, with approval from your Program Director with the completed form. You must have an IRB # or exemption for any materials, case report, or research project that involves patients and is being presented outside your department or the institution.
Erlanger does not charge individual faculty, residents, and medical students for AV and graphics services if related to educational programs. The University pays for these services.
