Scholarly Activity
Residents are encouraged to participate in clinical and basic research activities
and to submit their work for presentation at regional and national conferences. Many
of our residents have participated in clinical research projects that have resulted
in presentations and publications.
All residents are provided a stipend to use at their discretion in support of professional
development and scholarly activities. Funds may be used for a variety of purposes,
including clinical research, state and national conference registration, examinations,
licensing fees, publication expenses, presentations, and other associated scholarly
activities.
