Equipment in the Library
The Library has a variety of equipment available for check out:
- Camera

- Charger cables and adapters
- Also: portable rechargeable power pack for smartphones and tablets (use your own device cable)

- Headphones (over ear and noise canceling)
- Laptops (semester checkout)

Electronic Classroom (3rd floor across from elevator): 6 Dell workstations running Windows 10 and 2 iMacs are available when instruction classes are not scheduled. See E-Classroom for more information.

Special note regarding saving files: if you save a file to one of the library’s computers and you want to keep it, make sure you save it to a USB drive or email the file to yourself. Our computers automatically restart after 15 minutes of inactivity. Once restarted, any file you might have placed on the computer will be deleted and cannot be retrieved.
5 Dell Laptops are available for semester checkout. Check links below for availability.
These can be used to display wirelessly to monitors in 3rd floor study rooms, 210 and 307.
Research alcove (2nd floor) and electronic classroom (3rd floor) computers are configured so current UTHSC students can print using the WEPA kiosk system available across the UTHSC campus..
Effective January 2, 2018, anyone can print to any WEPA print kiosk across campus, from:
- UTHSC computers
- Personal computers, tablets and smartphones
- Cloud or USB storage
- Email documents to print@wepanow.com
The general public, non-students and students with a $0.00 balance can pay with credit card.
- Black & white single sided $0.09 per page
- Black & white double sided $0.08 per page
- Color single sided $0.35 per page
- Color double sided $0.25 per page
- NOTE: There is a $0.40 fee per transaction under $5.00. Create a WEPA account and deposit $5.00 or more to avoid the fee.

- 2nd floor outside Room 210 (west) - high capacity, black and white only
- 3rd floor in the electronic classroom (Room 307) - black & white and color

- The book-edge scanner is located on the east side of the second floor near the 6 Dell workstations.
- There is no photocopier in the library.
- Scan the materials and send to your email (25 MB limit) or save to a USB drive or use cloud storage. Note: to use Google Drive from scanning station you can't use 2-factor authentication and must enable Less Secure apps in your Google settings.
