OB/GYN Chattanooga Applicant Information
Virtual Interviews
For positions available July 1, 2025, our OB/GYN Residency Program will again follow specialty-wide standards recommended by the Council on Resident Education in Obstetrics and Gynecology (CREOG) and the Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics (APGO) for the 2024-2025 residency application cycle. These organizations are still recommending virtual interviews in order to minimize costs for residency applicants and ensure equitable access for all applicants, regardless of means.
Our program only accepts applications for PGY-1 residency positions through the "ResidencyCAS." This is a computerized application service which is available to all medical student applicants to OB/GYN Residency programs who are attending accredited schools in the United States, as well as international medical graduates via the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG). Medical students interested in applying to our program can request information but applications and supporting documentation must be submitted directly from the medical schools to the web-based ResidencyCAS system. Someone in your medical school's Dean's Office should be able to counsel you regarding this procedure. OB/GYN Residency Programs are using ResidencyCAS instead of AAMC ERAS for the 2024-2025 recruiting season.
Also, all applicants must participate in the National Residency Matching Program System. The NRMP Program Code for our four OB/GYN Categorical positions is 1689220C0. Our ACGME Program ID is #220-47-21-274.
Note: We do not allow externships or observerships for medical students, applicants, or other physicians.
