Why I Chose OB/GYN: I chose this specialty because it combines my love for surgery with continuity of care and preventative medicine. It is an emotional and exciting field where we can support out patients through some of the most challenging and beautiful times of their lives. I love getting to connect with people and empower them to make informed devisions about their reproductive health.

Bio
Hometown: Toxey, AL
Undergraduate: Stillman College
Medical School: UAB School of Medicine
Why I chose OB/GYN: Coming into medical school, I knew that I wanted to cultivate lifelong meaningful patient relationships that would promote both physical and mental well being in populations that were in need of compassionate care. During my clinical rotations, I fell in love with the operating room and immediately knew I would want to pursue a surgical specialty. OB/GYN was the perfect fit for me because it provides the opportunity for direct longitudinal patient care while also offering a wide range of procedural opportunities.
OB/GYN Areas of Interest: Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery, Addiction Medicine
Hobbies: Golf, Hunting, Fishing, Watersports, Cooking, Sports Documentaries, and cheering on the Atlanta Braves!

Bio

Hometown: Bozeman, MT
Undergraduate:
Montana State University
Medical School: Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences
Why I Chose OB/GYN: I did not know I wanted to do OB/GYN when I started medical school, but after my OB/GYN rotation, I knew I had found my perfect fit. Finding a specialty that allowed for surgery in the mornings, clinic in the afternoon, all while delivering babies in between is so exciting. And having the opportunity to take care of women across their lifespan while being and educator and advocate made it that much more appealing to me.
OB/GYN Areas of Interest: So far generalist, but I love the obstetrical niche so we will see!
Hobbies: Hiking, fishing, brunching, binge watching Netflix.
