Why OBGYN: The scope of care in OBGYN is so fun for me! I love being challenged by the critical thinking required for our high risk patients and L&D floor. OBGYNs get to participate in their patient’s most exciting yet vulnerable parts of their lives and there’s nothing like being there when parents meet their babies for the first time! We have the unique opportunity to empower our patients through their reproductive care so you really feel like you’re making a difference every day at work.
Why Chattanooga: The residents here have been among some of the most supportive and encouraging people I’ve ever met. They push me to challenge myself and are always there for me when I feel like I’m struggling. I’m close with my family and moving away from them was hard for me- no one can replace your actual family but these people here in Chattanooga come awfully close for me!
Areas of interest: Family planning, LGBTQ health, laborist practice.
Hobbies: Hiking and camping with my friends and partner, playing volleyball, listening/watching/reading anything to do with true crime, and cuddling my XL-sized cat, Tofu.
