How would you describe a productive day? A non-productive one? Understanding the importance of time management is central to success in all endeavors, as well as our overall sense of contentment. This training uses lecture, written exercises and group discussion to help you find ways to make the most of your time and, most importantly, make time for yourself.
This session Mike LaBonte, Executive Director for Memphis Crisis Center, will cover the basics of suicide first aid, including practical information on how to recognize and effectively respond to a potential suicidal crisis. There will be an emphasis on evidence-based strategies for helping anyone that may be struggling with suicide, techniques for assessing risk, building safety, and how to link at-risk individuals to appropriate community and professional resources.

Today’s workforce includes members of five different generations (Traditionalists, Baby Boomers, Generation X, Millennials, and Generation Z). This presents managers leading multigenerational teams with many great opportunities and tasks. In this session, we will meet with leaders to understand the benefits and power of a generationally diverse workforce, learn how to collaborate, and overcome any challenges.

Every day, there are more and more ways to communicate but that increase in quantity does not always mean an improvement in quality.
