Dr. Bean was born and raised in Birmingham, AL. She attended The University of Alabama for undergrad where she majored in Biology. For medical school she attended VCOM-Auburn. In her free time, Laci enjoys traveling with her husband, Logan, as well as trying new restaurants. She also enjoys going on walks with their two goldendoodles, Fitz and Bennie.

Dr. Castelli was born and raised in New Jersey, particularly Springsteen country (South Jersey). He attended undergrad at La Salle University in Philadelphia where he received his bachelor’s degree in biology. He then attended Mississippi College where he received a master’s in medical sciences before finally attending St. George University School of Medicine. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, reading, and listening to music. A self-proclaimed music nerd, he has a burgeoning record collection and is excited to explore Memphis and its rich and diverse music history.

Dr. Daugherty was born and raised in Bossier City, Louisiana. He attended undergrad at Lyon College, and completed his medical education at LMU DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine. He enjoys having date night with his wife, Laura, and playing tug of war with his dog, Henry. He wants to either pursue neonatology or work as a general pediatrician.

Dr. Davidson was born and raised in Jonesboro, AR. He completed his degree in biology at Arkansas State University and medical school at The University of Arkansas for Health Sciences. Growing up only an hour away from Memphis, Troy is excited to discover more about the city he grew up frequently visiting, while providing healthcare to the pediatric community. In his spare time, Troy likes to binge watch tv shows with his fiancé Macey, exercise, and watch sports such as football, baseball, soccer and Grizzlies basketball.

Dr Emmanuel was born in Nigeria and moved to Charlotte, North Carolina for college. She attained her BS in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Dr Faith obtained her medical degree at St George’s University in Grenada. She hopes to pursue a career in neonatology but is open to exploring other sub-specialties. In her spare time she is either cooking, hosting a game night or traveling. Faith is thrilled to be a member of the Le Bonheur family and looks forward to the great opportunities Le Bonheur has to offer as well as Memphis!

Dr. Feimster grew up in Benton, Arkansas. She attended the University of Arkansas (Woo Pig!) in Fayetteville to obtain her BS in biological sciences with minors in psychology and medical humanities. She then earned her MD degree at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. She is excited to continue her training in Memphis with her fiance, Troy Davidson, who is also a Pediatrics resident in her class. In her free time, she enjoys traveling locally and abroad, watching movies, spending time with friends and family, and loving on her Ragamese cat, Blue Jean. 

Dr. Harrison was born and raised in Ruckersville, Virginia. She received her undergraduate degree in biology from Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!!!) and then worked for a year in Pediatric Endocrinology at UVA. She attended medical school at Campbell University in North Carolina, which is where she met her fiancé, Matthew. Some of her favorite activities include going to the beach/river/lake, working out, reading, and competing with her fiancé on the golf course. She is very excited to have matched at UT and is currently planning to pursue general pediatrics after finishing residency.

Dr. Jhaveri hails from New York City. She earned her undergraduate degrees from Wesleyan University, graduating with a B.S. in Neuroscience & Behavior and a B.A. in Dance. She went on to attend Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in Harlem. While she'll miss the Big Apple, Dr. Jhaveri is thrilled to be in Memphis pursuing her dream of becoming a Child Neurologist. Outside of work, she enjoys dancing, attending concerts, hosting Bachelor viewing parties, and spending time with her black cat, Oliver.

Dr. Kaur was born and raised in Punjab, India. She completed her medical school at Guru Gobind Singh Medical College in Punjab, India. In her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, going for walks in nature, cooking, and singing. She is excited to be a part of the Le Bonheur family!

Dr. Leyva is a second-generation Cuban American born and raised in Miami, Florida. She received her undergraduate degree in Biology, with a double major in interdisciplinary studies from FIU in Miami Florida, and attended medical school at NSU KPCOM in Ft. Lauderdale Florida. She loves spending time outdoors, especially by the ocean. She delights in dancing to good music with her friends and family, and her hobbies include reading fantasy novels and painting. She is passionate about animals, particularly her 8-year-old shih tzu Summer. She is very excited to explore Memphis!

Dr. Miller, originally from Bangkok, Thailand, holds a BA in Psychology from Naropa University. Her career journey includes a counselor at a safe house for girls, a volunteer firefighter in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, and a first responder in Texas. She later earned her doctoral degree in Osteopathic Medicine from Sam Houston State University.

Her professional passion lies in adolescent medicine, behavior and development, and child psychiatry, with a focus on serving underserved children. Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with her German Shepherd dog and loved ones. She also likes learning Mandarin and Spanish, building Lego sets, playing video games, reading East Asian novels and comics, watching Disney+, and traveling. Her favorite exercises are yoga, pilates, and hiking. She is excited to join the Le Bonheur family!

Dr. Moore was born and raised in Harvest, AL. She attended Xavier University of Louisiana in New Orleans, LA and received a BS in Biology. Following Xavier, she attended medical school at VCOM Auburn. In her free time she enjoys baking, reading, bullet journaling and listening to music. She loves rollercoasters and all things Disney! Most of all, Kennedy is so excited to explore Memphis and ready to train at UTHSC.

Dr. Muralidhar was born in India and grew up in Dubai, UAE. She completed medical school at Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research, Chennai. After graduation, she joined the UK Foundation Programme and worked as a junior doctor in the NHS at Pilgrim Hospital, Boston. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, watching movies, and spending time with her family and friends. She is thrilled to be moving to Memphis for her Pediatrics Residency and to explore a new city. She is excited to pursue her further training at Le Bonheur!

Dr. Myers was born and raised in Columbia, TN south of Nashville before becoming a Memphian. He attended The University of Memphis for undergrad earning degrees in biology and Spanish before earning a Masters of Pharmacology and MD at UTHSC. 

Dr. Nepal grew up in the Kathmandu valley. She completed her medical school from Kathmandu University School of Medical Sciences. She enjoys walking around towns and taking short hiking trips. She loves to read, chat with friends, family and visit new places. She is thrilled to join the Memphis community and become a part of Le Bonheur! 

Dr. Palms is a born and raised Memphian who loves her city dearly. She attended the University of TN at Chattanooga where she earned her BS and BA in Biology and Spanish, respectively. She earned a MS at Lincoln Memorial University and a MS at Meharry Medical College. She is a graduate  of the DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine. She enjoys working out, traveling, learning new things, and spending time with her family, especially her 1 year old daughter. 

Born and raised in Ahmedabad, India, Dr. Parikh completed his M.B.B.S. (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) at B. J. Medical College, also located in his hometown. In his personal time, he enjoys playing the guitar and singing, which are two of his favorite hobbies. He is an avid traveler who delights in exploring new destinations and immersing himself in diverse cultures. In addition to medical pursuits, he is a dedicated food blogger with an Instagram page boasting 10,000 followers. His blog focuses on discovering and sharing a variety of culinary experiences. As he transitions to Memphis, he look forward to continuing his food blogging, exploring new eateries, and sampling different cuisines. He is enthusiastic about the upcoming residency journey, eager to connect with new people, and excited to embrace all that Memphis has to offer.

Dr. Rodriguez was raised in East Tennessee and graduated from ETSU with a B.S. in Biology and a B.A. in French. She remained in East TN to attend LMU-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in Knoxville. During her free time she enjoys playing disc golf with her family, watching films with her boyfriend, playing board games with her friends, and reading fantasy novels. 

Dr. Schall is from Lynchburg, TN. Then went to the University of Tennessee Knoxville to obtain her undergraduate degree in biology. She then moved to Memphis to attend the University of Tennessee Health Science center to get her medical degree. She then chose to stay at UTHSC and come to Le Bonheur Children’s hospital for residency. Outside of medicine, she enjoys snuggling her diluted tortishell cat named Jade. She loves playing video games with her significant other and making fancy dinners with him. She is excited to continue to explore Memphis, make new friends, and learn a ton. 

Dr. Taylor was born and raised in Birmingham, AL. She obtained her BS from Auburn University (War Eagle!) and then returned home to attend UAB School of Medicine. In her spare time, she enjoys playing with her cat (Kiwi), building jigsaw puzzles, going to the lake, and spending time with her friends and family. Herron is so excited to join the team at Le Bonheur for her pediatric residency!

Dr. Vats was born in Maharashtra, India, and raised in New Delhi. She pursued her medical education at Lady Hardinge Medical College in New Delhi, where she discovered a passion for pediatrics. Outside of her medical pursuits, she spends her free time reading fiction, writing poetry, listening to music, learning to sketch and paint, and watching movies and TV series.

Dr. Vilas was born and raised in Austin, TX. She attended Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, TX, for her undergraduate degree, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with Honors, earning a BS in Biology and minors in Chemistry, Spanish for the Health Professions, and Cultural Awareness in Health and Healthcare. She then earned her MD from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX. She plans to remain involved in clinical research and pursue a fellowship after residency. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, listening to music, painting, cooking, and trying out new restaurants. She also enjoys running and is always looking for new hiking trails to explore with her dog, Sadie Belle. Dr. Vilas is excited to be a part of the UTHSC family and to call Memphis home!

Dr. Ward is originally from Jasper, AL. She attended the University of Mississippi where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Biology. She then completed a Masters of Science in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. She attended medical school at the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine. She values being involved in the community and is a proud member of the Junior League. She also loves spending time with friends and family, especially around the dinner table! She is excited to complete residency training in Memphis with the wonderful people at Le Bonheur and St. Jude.

Dr. Wolford grew up in Guntersville, AL. She graduated from Troy University in Troy, AL with a BS in Biomedical Sciences. She attended medical school at The University of Alabama at Birmingham Heersink School of Medicine. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, baking, puzzling, trying new restaurants, going to concerts, and spending time with her dog. She is excited to explore the city of Memphis and continue her training at Le Bonheur!

Dr. Zimmerhanzel was born in San Antonio, but was raised across the country in a military family before returning to Texas for his BS in Biology at Texas A&M University. He then attended UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. In his free time, David enjoys staying active, trying to grill the perfect steak, watching classic films, and learning and trying new things.
