Memphis is known for prominent hospitals, scientific discovery, and community service. University of Tennessee’s mission of improving Tennessean ‘s health is a key mission of Division of Hematology and Oncology. UTHSC Cancer Program's mission is to provide personalized, comprehensive, and cutting-edge cancer care for the patients of Memphis and the Mid-South region through compassion, partnership, innovation, research, and education. Come join us to be part of this mission. Our fellowship training program has been a successful educational mission for several decades. We strive for diversity in our faculty as well as students. We welcome applicants interested in becoming great clinicians or clinician-scientists in hematology and oncology. Resources are available through our partnership with basic scientist in UT Cancer Program as well as St Jude Children’s hospital for a robust scientific career in classical hematology, malignant hematology as well as oncology. We want our next generation to be in the frontline caring for our sick and underserved patient population as well as participate in dynamic changes in management and discovery in oncology.
