UTHSC personnel and visitors are expected to comply with public health guidelines for the management of COVID-19 issued by federal, state, and local public health agencies. Guidelines as applicable to UTHSC personnel on campus are summarized below.
1. Staying at home while sick, getting tested, and wearing a well-fitting mask remain effective measures for protection against COVID-19.
2. Vaccination: Personnel are encouraged to be vaccinated against COVID-19 and to stay up-to-date with boosters as recommended by the CDC. Information regarding vaccinations is available from the CDC.
3. Individuals experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 (Center for Disease Control and Prevention, 2020) or other potentially transmissible illness should not come to campus and are encouraged to stay at home.
4. If you have symptoms or have tested positive, notify your supervisor or direct report.
