UTHSC Center for Addiction Science

The UTHSC Center for Addiction Science offers outpatient care for people with opioid, alcohol, and other substance use disorders.

Our health care providers understand addiction and treat patients suffering from the disease of addiction with respect and compassion. In addition to services provided by our physicians, our clinic offers a full range of counseling and case management services. We also offer referral options to community resources to help patients and their families struggling with the consequences of addiction. Our treatment options celebrate abstinence, respect Twelve Step philosophies, and incorporate medication-assisted treatment, including the use of buprenorphine (e.g. Suboxone, Sublocade) and naltrexone (e.g. Vivitrol). We take a patient-centered approach to treating addictions and are dedicated to your recovery.
