Pediatric Surgery Fellowship
The Pediatric Surgery Fellowship program provides fellows with the tools they need to build a solid knowledge base and gain clinical experience to successfully care for infants and children from birth to 18 years of age requiring surgical treatment and promotion in general health.
As residents gain experience and demonstrate growth in their ability to care for patients through faculty supervision, they will assume roles that permit them to exercise those skills with greater independence. At the end of their training, fellows should function as competent pediatric surgeons. The Pediatric Surgery Fellowship is administered by the University of Tennessee Graduate Medical Education Department in conjunction with Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital.
