In-Patient Care

UTHSC pharmacy faculty serve in critical care, internal medicine, pediatrics, and infectious disease units across Tennessee’s leading hospitals. They collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize medication therapy and improve patient outcomes.

Locations and Practice Areas

Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital is the only comprehensive pediatric hospital in the Memphis region. It is a 276-bed facility located in the Memphis Medical District. Recognized among the nation’s “Best Children’s Hospitals” by U.S. News & World Report for 15 consecutive years, Le Bonheur is always on the side of children, advocating on their behalf so we can provide them with the care they need.

Through the Rural Health program, community-based residency, and the Medication Therapy Management program, our students gain real-world experience while expanding access to immunizations, wellness services, and medication counseling.

The UTHSC College of Pharmacy offers a diverse portfolio of residency and fellowship programs designed to develop future leaders in pharmacy practice, education, and research. With training sites across Memphis, Nashville, and Knoxville, these programs provide immersive experiences in clinical care, academia, corporate pharmacy leadership, and specialized practice areas.
